Questions to ask

• Looking at the last four weekly check-ins on this goal, what pattern do you see?
• Is the plan we set at the start of the period still the right plan?
• What have we learned about this goal that we didn't know when we wrote it?
• If we stay on this trajectory, will we hit the goal by the deadline? If not, what changes?

If a goal has been in caution for three weeks in a row, that's a monthly problem. Change the plan. The goal stays the same.

The five-part reset

1. Did we hit the quarterly goals? Be honest. Mark each as Hit, Partial, or Missed.
2. What did we learn? For each goal, name the one or two most important lessons.
3. Are the annual goals still on track? Given where the quarter landed, what needs to shift?
4. What are the next quarterly goals? Each ministry area picks three. Use the formula. Assign one owner.
5. Block the calendar. Weekly check-ins, monthly review, next quarterly reset - before anyone leaves the room.

Every goal - annual or quarterly - has all five: starting number, target, deadline, reason, and one named owner.
