Lead Pastor
Raised in Houston, Bill graduated from Texas A&M and studied at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Biola University. He and his wife, Sunshine, are parents to two energetic sons—Jordan and Ryan. With more than 20 years of ministry experience, Bill is passionate about discipleship, building meaningful relationships, developing leaders, and cultivating authentic community. He enjoys sports, reading, and wrestling with his sons.

Oliver Scott
worship Pastor
Born into a musical family in Waco, Texas, Oliver Scott has spent his life blending music and ministry. After touring with The Gap Band and studying music in Los Angeles, he answered God’s call to full-time worship leadership in 1987. He’s served at SCC since 2012. Oliver and his wife Evelyn have six grown children and five grandchildren. When he’s not leading worship, you’ll find him enjoying golf, basketball, long walks, or a good bike ride.

Brittany Auclair
Kids Director
Brittany grew up in a military family and is a graduate of the University of Arizona. She and her husband, Steve, are raising two sweet daughters—Madison and Charlotte—and run their own business. Known around here as the ultimate “inviter,” Brittany is always ready to meet someone new and make them feel at home. She brings warmth, energy, and a deep love for Jesus to our kids' ministry, where she’s passionate about helping kids grow in their faith and welcoming families into the life of the church.

Katie Powell
Preschool Kids Director
Katie, a Sugar Land native, holds a Psychology degree from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and has a background in early childhood education, including teaching first grade. She and her husband, Troy, are blessed with six wonderful children. With a deep passion for family discipleship, Katie loves helping parents teach their children about Jesus in everyday moments of life.

Jennifer Brinton-Shearn
Office & Operations Manager
Originally from Pennsylvania, Jennifer moved to Missouri City in 1998. She’s been a committed volunteer in both church and public schools, including leadership roles with the Sienna Crossing PTO. Jennifer has two grown sons and three cherished granddaughters. She adores children and animals and finds joy in exploring God’s creation through nature.
